The future for The Sims 3?

Hi, i have the sims 3 for xbox. And i enjoyed it for a few days until it gets so repetitive and kinda boring. I'd still be able to play it right now, but my xbox is broken. I was just thinking about how different the PC and console versions are. The Pc is way more advanced i think. I was thinking, with the whole idea of Building houses, EA ( are they the creators? ) should take it to the next level for their widely used game, and make it possible for friends / players to create their own landscape and town. People can start with a job and an apartment, keep working and build up their cashpile and when ready - buy a plot of land and build a house and when even richer, build a new store for more revenue and even allow others to work their for a salary. Even players have to buy food / shoes etc, after a time as they wear out. Does anyone think this would work? And even a method on bringing it to EA's attention. Thanks. Idea is for both pc and console too.

My favorite game would have to be Shenmue...I absolutely loved that game and i had the walkthrough book for it and played it through at least 3 times. What's the best type of computer monitor to use for streaming videos/consoles?

I want to get a big old monitor for my room, something like 24 inches. I'm just a little confused on what specifically to look at. I'm primarily going to use it to stream online videos from a smaller netbook and also for connecting my xbox, maybe something like hulu plus or netflicks eventually. I'm afraid I didn't enjoy it very much because the grammar is pretty bad and that made it difficult to understand. I often had to read a sentence two or three times before I realised what it meant. Print it off and read it out loud or get someone to read it to you and you will hear the things that need changing. One example; "Everything was held he was happy with it all." You obviously know what that means because you wrote the story but the reader has no idea what you planned to write or what you meant to say and that sentence doesn't help because it doesn't make sense. Keep going with the writing though because practise makes perfect and you have the enthusiasm needed to write. Good luck with your writing.

Questions about airport security & what items I have to put in the bins?

Hi, tomorrow I'm leaving on an early flight to Hawaii and I'm not checking any bags. I'm only bringing a rolling carry on (for the above compartment on the plane) and a backpack (as my personal item). Battlefield 3 on the console, somewhat dissapointing?

I know that the Battlefield series was on the PC first before consoles and that PC`s can continuously update their software for better experiences, but when they showed the PS3 gameplay of the game on that late night show, I was kinda disappointed. The smoke didn`t look as realistic, like it was going through materials instead of growing. Plus the M16 didnt even have an ACOG on it. I think I even noticed some diferent level design in places. I know what DICE meant when they said that they can`t just upgrade a console because it came out five years ago, but why did they show the PC footage when people would expect all three platforms to look the same. Most people know that they`re largest community is on PC, and I can respect that, but I don`t think DICE realizes how many console gamers have seen the Fault Line gameplay that they released. I was hoping for the same amazing experience that DICE has been promising from the beginning, but now Im disappointed that I may not get the same quality game. Why did DICE wait until now to tell people that they just couldn`t make the same game for console? I know I`m not the only one upset about this, as many sites have been posted talking about the graphics quality. yes this same thing happens with my xbox. The xbox slim is actually a lot less loud then the original xbox but it is stilll loud. Also it does get very hot. When I first got the slim I was really concerned but I have had the xbox for almost a year now and have had no problems with it overheating or anything so I think its just pumping out the hot air.

Yes, you do need to be concerned about your Marfan Syndrome. BUT, not to the point where it is exacerbating your panic attacks. You need to make regular appointments with your specialist physician to have echocardiograms to monitor your heart and check for aneurysms. Aneurysms are when a blood vessel bulges out at some point instead of being more linear like a straw. (Like a long thin balloon you blow up a little bit, where a bulge comes out, but most of it is long and thin). This is a high risk/probablilty with your syndrome. The problem comes in when the 'bulge' is so big, the vessel becomes so weak it can tear, and you could bleed from that area very quickly. But if you routinely have this checked, they can monitor for this condition and you could theoretically have surgery to fix this when it becomes too serious to wait any longer. As for your chest, it is a common trait w/ Marfan and I wouldn't get too excited that your chest is a bit different than other people w/ this syndrome. As for your panic attacks, these seem to really be effecting your quality of life, and a psychiatrist can assist you with this. Good luck.

Ok, so in 2007 I bought an Xbox Arcade, which came with a controller and a memory stick(256MB) That was definitely not gonna be enough room for everything. So I purchased a hardrive(20GB) off Amazon, but I made the mistake to buy it from someone who had already used it and put their account info on it. How can I fix my CD for a video game that keeps freezing when I try playing it?

I try to play my game, but after a couple minutes or so it freezes all the time in the beginning and my console then says that the CD can't be read. I look on the back and there's no scratches or anything. In the light, instead of seeing lines extending out from the middle (like a regular CD shows) I see wavy rings around the middle, extending. It was like water rings, when something drops into water and creates rings. Except they aren't perfect circles, they're wavy.

DOES MY 2 YEAR OLD HAVE AN ANXIETY DISORDER?

I have a 2 year and 9 month old little girl. She is the 3rd child of our 4 children my husband and I have together. Since she was around 1.5 everyone viewed her as increadibly intelligent, maybe even gifted as she talked in complete sentences, was very intelligent, and excelled in every area over other children her age. About 1 month before she turned to until now, she has begun being what my husband and I would call terrible 2's from hell. We attributed a lot of it to us having our 4th child at this time. However, as time has progressed, her behavior has gotten so bad, it literally dictates a lot of how the family acts and what we do. The normal temper tantrums have now appeared to become laced with anxiety, and they all depend on the mood she is in. Some days are great, others, are hell. Sometimes there are triggers, sometimes nothing appearently sets her off but she goes into hysterics over something yesterday would not have bothered her. The main things that seem to be the problem are when she can't get something exactly right it seems to upset her so much she appears to be physically in pain. For example, if she can not lay a baby doll the exact way she sees in her head to lay it, she is inconsoloble until we are able to figure out how to get it in that position. Also, sometimes noises bother her, or "shapes" she says things aren't the right shape, or she can't hear something when it's very loud, or says something is too loud when there is no noise (she does know the difference). When playing with other children for the most part she does well, however, when it comes to someone playing at our house, the child has to ask permission to come into our home and play. If they don't she gets very upset, and each toy, whether its hers or not, has to be given permission to play with. Please do not say it's a discipline problem, trust me it isn't the issue. We have tried everything and it doesn't work. When she gets upset, there is no consoling her until we can "fix" whatever is bothering her. Yah, I had a similar issue. I tried to register mine as well, and I couldn't get to the next page -- pushing Continue did absolutely nothing. It's not required to register your systems, though. However, I am one of those types of people who feels like it needs to be done anyway. So what I did was contact Sony through their online contact form and got a response to send them the information to have my systems registered. So do that -- contact them to get the proper request -- and they'll register it for you.

It really depends on which one you get and what types of meals you like, but today's MREs really aren't that bad. There will be a main meal, a side dish, and a dessert. "Dessert" can be pound cake (which I like), or even skittles or starburst. Main meals I like are the little hot dogs or chli mac. You'll get plasticware to eat it with. You'll also get a little pouch that has condiments. Usually contains a wetnap, salt/pepper, little bottle of tobasco sauce, packet of instant coffee, and creamer for the coffee. Also will get a pouch of drink mix which is kind of like a serving of kool-aid powder. They've come a long way and don't taste bad at all.

How can I fix my CD for a video game that keeps freezing when I try playing it?

I try to play my game, but after a couple minutes or so it freezes all the time in the beginning and my console then says that the CD can't be read. I look on the back and there's no scratches or anything. In the light, instead of seeing lines extending out from the middle (like a regular CD shows) I see wavy rings around the middle, extending. Party Etiquette -How to make guests follow rules, without being offensive?

A couple of our neighbors and my family get together and host a large party annually. We include games, inflatable water slide, pool, and ask only that people bring some food or drinks to share, and sign a liability waiver. The waiver states that if any of their family members attending get hurt on any of our properties, we are not responsible for their injuries or medical expenses. We generally have about 100 people at these functions, physical activity, and usually a couple of adults that drink too much. Never have problems, but I don't think that asking someone to sign a paper saying they won't sue if they get hurt on our property, is asking alot. We really enjoy hosting the parties, but it would only take one accident to ruin us all financially. My question is regarding how we can let people know (without being offensive), that they need to sign the waivers or leave the property. I was thinking maybe some signs posted with a funny way to state it, to take some of the sting out of the demand. We know someone who had a dinner guest slip on a wet, tile floor and sue them, so I want to make sure we take precautions. each state has a law with horses. you would have to find out yours. i live in florida and it's 1 acre per 2 horses. and your horse would get lonely horses are herd animals and need to be with other horses. it's sad to see them by their selves. plus after taxes and everything it is cheaper to just board a horse then have a horse property if your just gonna have one horse. if your gonna have 2 horses then it would be cheaper to keep them with you. also 5 times a week? that seems to be a lot. the maximum is 4. the reason is because if you over ride your horse your horse will have swaid back at a very young age and when it's older it will have to stop riding sooner. just a horses feed is around 100 depending on what your gonna feed your horse. hay for me is 70 a month i feed tna to my horse grain is 30 a month. plus their is the farrier vet and dentist. hope this helped a lil. remember make sure your horse has lots of grass and a partner or it will be lonely and miserable. even if you spend a lot of time with it your still not a horse lol.

How can I get this Call of Duty 4 mod to work?

I have Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and I downloaded the Reign of the Undead zombie mod and if someone else hosts the game it works fine. But if I try to host a game(I don't have broadband I'm trying to play a single player zombie game) There are three optoins: non-dedicated, internet or LAN. If I try to host it non-dedicated then it loads the map and I can walk around and everything and it says wave one: 20 zombies incoming but no zombies spawn. Every little while(a minute maybe.) something comes up saying something like punkbuster client in distress(you have to have punkbuster on to host non-dedicated). If I click on internet or LAN then(with punkbuster on or off) then the game closes and a new window called Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Console comes up with a bunch of stuff scrolling down in the console thingy. Then it stops and the only thing I can do is close the console thing. How can I get it to work? Thanks

Can anyone help me get KOTOR working with cheats?

OK guys, so i've already gone through and beaten KOTOR and now i'm playing through again on the PC and added some mods to the Override folder like they tell you to and they seem to work just fine. My problem is that I for some reason cannot get the cheats to enable. I have gone to swkotor.ini and added the line under Game Options: EnableCheats=1 but then it said i didn't have permission to save back in the main folder so instead I ended up saving it in My Documents and then moving it over to the main KOTOR folder. well, now I start the game and it runs fine but i push the ` key (the one left of the 1 key) and nothing happens, I've also tried [ctrl] + ` [alt] + ` [shift] + ` and other combinations as well, however i do not get any console or any area where i can type in the cheat. Does anyone know how to help? I've tried all these combinations on a US English Keyboard setting as well as a UK English Keyboard setting.

Xbox 360 Wireless mic won't connect?

I recently purchased a wireless mic, which was brand new. Not second hand, or anything. It was "fresh from the package". I have gone step-by-step to connect it to the console, however, it won't connect. When I press the sync button on both the console then the mic, the lights flash as they should, and the mic connects for anywhere between 3-15 seconds, then will begin to flash as though it is trying to sync again, and I didn't press any buttons on anything. I have tried it with no controllers active, and with controllers on. I don't get what is happening.

Why should i smile to rude customer?

i am a assist manger in a fast food joint I'm am a kind, mellow, and gentle person who treat everyone with respect and work really hard dealing with rude customer and trying to make sure everyone order is right and proper. My staff were always happy and very well manner we give 110%. The restaurant get very busy everyday and very stressful. But I always respond making sure the customers are happy and got everything they need but there are customer that can be very mean and not patient. I had a situation were a doctor was waiting in start yelling saying what's taking so long then complain about the price so I try to explain that i have no control over the price he refuse to listen he just paid and wait for his number to be called. A second later he came back to the counter and complain where his food. So I told my one of my employees to skip a few orders and do his so he can come down and stop making my employees nerves. We gave him his food and ask if he needed any condiment he said no and sat down then few minutes later he came back complain the food was cold so I apologize to him let him keep the food he bought and went to the kitchen and gave him a fresher food. He took it sat down and ate it then come back said it was under cook and complain about service and said we all need to smile more. The next day got a call from the head top saying we gave a customer lazy service and need to smile more. After thinking about for a while why should i smile to a guy like that who keep me waiting in a waiting room for 3 hr just for a quick check up and I don't be rude nor mean I be nice and very happy to be there. PS3 definitely. It's free online so it won't press you for cash like xbox 360 live does each month. Also, xbox controllers are fat and clunky. PS3 controllers are slick and practical (much lighter). PS3's have a more classy overall look to them and the blueray component is awesome. Also, the web browsing on the PS3 is great. Xbox fans biggest argument against the PS3 is that there are more games for xbox (which is true), but the only well known ones are Gears of War and Halo. PS3 has infamous exclusively and uncharted which I think are better than the xbox exclusive games. PS3's are a lil more expensive but you get more bang for your buck out of them than you would for xbox.

What you can do is get a Q-tip and slightly wet both ends, then rub the little metal strip on both sides with the wet q-tip. make sure to rub both sides again with a dry q-tip when finished. If the q-tips have brown to blackish stuff on them, then your games were the problem. Sometimes went old cartridge games are sitting for a while and not used, you can just do that and then they work fine. The yellow case damage is very common with SNES. mine is really yellow and it plays fine. Blowing/wiggling doesn't always work when they have been sitting around for a while.
