Questions about getting a horse?

each state has a law with horses. you would have to find out yours. i live in florida and it's 1 acre per 2 horses. and your horse would get lonely horses are herd animals and need to be with other horses. it's sad to see them by their selves. plus after taxes and everything it is cheaper to just board a horse then have a horse property if your just gonna have one horse. if your gonna have 2 horses then it would be cheaper to keep them with you. also 5 times a week? that seems to be a lot. the maximum is 4. the reason is because if you over ride your horse your horse will have swaid back at a very young age and when it's older it will have to stop riding sooner. just a horses feed is around 100 depending on what your gonna feed your horse. hay for me is 70 a month i feed tna to my horse grain is 30 a month. plus their is the farrier vet and dentist. hope this helped a lil. remember make sure your horse has lots of grass and a partner or it will be lonely and miserable. even if you spend a lot of time with it your still not a horse lol.
