I'm sure it depends on the group or practice he is in, as if they are in a group there is a certain percentage that goes to the Administrator/head physician. Also, you have to consider the salaries of any staff he has, as well as insurance which is very costly for doctors. I know some doctors now that are barely making money because patient payments are down as well as reimbursements from insurance and Medicare/Medicaid.
