How to record from a console with a video camera?

Ok, so i bought Y Cable splitters today so i could record from my xbox/ps3. I was planning on buying a capture card, but i have a video camera, so i thought i would use that instead. My camera is a JVC Everio GZ-MG330, and i can't figure out how to get it to record my console. Please Help! Thanks in advance!
